Canada is divided into聽13 self-governing units known as聽provinces聽and territories. In聽casual conversation, it鈥檚 also common to talk of Canada as being split into around six 鈥渞egions;鈥澛爈arge geographic zones that share various聽things in common, including聽climate, landscape, industry, demographics, and politics.
In this section, we’ll examine Canada聽from both perspectives. After an overview of the country’s聽landscape, nature, and weather, we’ll take a closer look at the three biggest provinces 鈥 Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia 鈥 as well as the three regions that contain the rest.
